Guernsey born and based singer-songwriter, Eloise Fabbri has released a new single – “a jazz-infused alt-RnB track”.
‘Runnin’ Away’ is the first release from Eloise’s upcoming 2025 EP, ‘Clean Cut Lioness’.
“The single is a jazz-infused alt-RnB track featuring my dynamic vocals, luscious trombone licks and an undeniable groove,” she explained.
“The narrative dives into the battle between head and heart – knowing something is wrong, but going back to it anyway.
“I wrote this song as a playful reminder of how our instinct always knows what we really need,” she said. “But it’s up to us whether we listen or not.”
‘Runnin’ Away’ was produced by Zaq Sawyer-Coffey and features trombone by Dave Sear.
It has been selected as ‘Track of the Week’ by ‘BBC Introducing Channel Islands’ and it will air across the islands on Saturday 19 July.
The single has also been recently reviewed by Angela Cook at Earmilk – with Cook describing the track as “a soulful jam from start to finish—packed with punch, attitude, and undeniable groove”.
