Those taking on the full moonlight marathon started from Octopus restaurant at Havelet Bay at 02:00 before meeting the half marathon runners at Cobo at around 04:00. They than ran along the west coast towards the airport, picking up runners tackling the five mile and five km challenges on the way.

The whole group finished the run together, heading in to town before having a joint breakfast at Octopus.
