An award-winning David Attenborough documentary is set for a special screening in Guernsey.

‘Ocean with David Attenborough’ was nominated for six Primetime Emmy Awards this year. It showcases the world’s marine habitats in stunning detail.

Organised by the Guernsey Nature Commission, La Société Guernesiaise and Blue Marine Foundation, the screening will take place at Beau Séjour on Sunday 1 November at 14:00.

The documentary showcases new scientific discoveries, highlighting the importance of our oceans, the threats they face and the opportunities for recovery.

It will be followed by a Q&A with one of the film’s producers, Toby Nolan.

This will also include a showcase of Guernsey’s marine environments, including a slideshow of images taken by local photographer Tim Harvey.

The event is free and open to everyone.

Tickets can be booked through the event’s Eventbrite page.
