Guernsey Housing Association (GHA) has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer, completing its senior leadership team as it works to deliver more affordable homes in Guernsey.
Victoria Sloan brings more than 20 years of commercial financial services experience to the role, having previously served as Director of Pensions at Praxis.
She joins Chief Executive Vic Slade and Chief Operating Officer Lisa de Kooker, completing a senior leadership team with experience spanning housing, public service, operations and the commercial sector.
Ms Slade said: “Victoria joins us at a really important point for GHA. Building a solid team has been a real priority, and with Victoria’s appointment we now have experience across housing, government and the private sector.
GHA is a not-for-profit organisation focused on providing good-quality, affordable homes for islanders.
It works with developers and the States of Guernsey to meet the island’s housing needs, while continuing to support tenants and maintain its properties.
Ms Sloan said: “After more than 20 years in the commercial sector, I wanted to bring my financial expertise to an organisation where I could make a more tangible impact for the community.
“GHA has a clear sense of purpose and real ambition behind it, and housing is something that impacts every family on this island in one way or another.
“I’m looking forward to getting stuck in alongside Vic, Lisa and the rest of the team.”
