Deputy Peter Roffey, President of the States’ Assembly & Constitution Committee said: “The Committee stated at the public meeting that it would produce a rolling FAQ document to assist not just those considering applying to be as a campaign group but anyone interested in following the referendum process.
“Members of the public are reminded that they can e-mail the Lead Referendum Officer referendum@gov.gg if they want to express an interest in forming or joining a campaign group to represent an option. This can be published at gov.gg/referendum to encourage and enable individuals and groups to come together.”
“Prospective groups and interested persons are reminded they have until noon on Friday 25 May 2018 to submit their applications to be a campaign group. Applications can be made online at gov.gg/referendum by either completing the online application form or downloading the word version of the application form.”
The guidance notes “Applying to be a campaign group” and “Referendum expenses: Guidance for campaign groups” are available to download at www.gov.gg/referendum. The presentation given on Monday 16 April, 2018 is also available on the same page and a video of the presentation and Q&A session is available on facebook.com/govgg.
