Days after a man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following a car accident, four more drivers have been stopped speeding along the same road.
On 6 September, a car ended up on its roof during a collision along Route des Laurens, Torteval.
Guernsey Police confirmed a man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
Since then, officers have carried out speed checks and patrols in that area, with four drivers reported for speeding within less than a week.
“Road safety is everyone’s responsibility, and Road Policing and Response Officers will continue to carry out patrols including targeted responses to incidents and public concerns,” said a spokesperson for Guernsey Police.

Route des Laurens is the road which takes you past the former Torteval stores, almost half way between Torteval Church and the Mallard.
