“Saturday’s arrival of PCYacht Club was unexpected but equally welcome. Initially the 9-strong crew of WOLVERINE had planned to sail to Guernsey, but in view of the weather forecast opted for a safe haven in Braye Harbour instead,” said the Club.
“After a well-deserved drink, their commodore Nick Covell exchanged burgees with Alderney Sailing Club Commodore Nigel Vooght.”
On Sunday a prize giving event was held at the clubhouse by the Poole Yacht Racing Association.
