Becky Duquemin from the charity said the sunrise swim was “amazing” with between 200 and 300 people turning up at dawn to swim at La Vallette.
They were rewarded with a hot drink after taking their dip.
Mrs Duquemin said the atmosphere was “buzzing”, suggesting it might be a regular fixture in the Bright Tights calendar going forward.
The charity had asked for a £10 donation from each swimmer, to be exchanged for a hot drink token from the cafe at the Bathing Pools.
While the swim kick started the day, events brightened up further with the afternoon tea at Les Cotils.
