Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2025
The Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition is back at Guernsey Museum at Candie!

The world-renowned exhibition, now in its sixtieth year and on loan from the Natural History Museum in London, opens at Guernsey Museum on 31 January.
Featuring 100 exceptional images that capture fascinating animal behaviour, spectacular species and the breathtaking diversity of the natural world this exhibition will not disappoint. Using photography’s unique emotive power to engage and inspire audiences, the images shine a light on stories and species around the world and encourage a future of advocating for the planet.
Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the most prestigious photography event of its kind, providing a global platform that showcases some of the best photography talent from around the world for nearly 60 years. Launched in 1965, today the competition receives entries from 117 countries and territories all over the world, highlighting its enduring appeal. This year’s award-winning images will embark on an international tour that will allow them to be seen by well over a million people.
For Guernsey Museum, it is the 30 years since first hosting Wildlife Photographer of the Year and we are proud to be celebrating this milestone.
This fabulous showcase, coupled with the Guernsey Arts Bailiwick Wildlife Photography Exhibition (also taking place within Candie Museum) makes for the perfect solo or family day out.
The museum entry fee is payable at the front desk, or free with your discovery pass.
