An evening of Soul & Motown awaits… This Saturday 21 February from 8pm at St James!

Come and dance the night away at our third Soul & Motown Night, featuring all the hits and classics from your favourite artists, including: Stevie Wonder, LaBelle, James Brown, Chic, Sister Sledge, The Weather Girls, Earth, Wind and Fire, The Jackson 5, Queen & many more…
Leading our six piece funk band this time is Diana Silveira, a Portuguese rock/blues/soul singer who gained national recognition under the name Diana Piedade as the runner-up in the third season of the TV talent show ‘Ídolos’, the Portuguese adaptation of the Pop Idol franchise. This TV and subsequent media exposure led to her gaining something of an international profile.
Once again we will have Northern Soul DJ Andy Newman heating up the dancefloor whenever the band isn’t on stage.
It’s going to be a great night of music. Pick up your tickets while you still can!
2026 Bailiwick Wildlife Photography Exhibition
Guernsey Arts welcomes in the 2026 edition of The Bailiwick Wildlife Photography Exhibition!

Now in its fifth year, this community exhibition continues to go from strength to strength, with submissions from photographers of all ages. It showcases the unique and varied range of wildlife that our beloved Bailiwick has to offer, inviting the viewer to slow down and take a deep look at the beauty of nature.
This year is a record year with over 90 wildlife photographers of all ages taking part in the show. We are so excited to see that the show is so loved and appreciated by Island photographers and extremely grateful to 2026’s sponsor, Mourant, for supporting the ethos of the show for a second year running.
Education is a core outcome of the Bailiwick Wildlife Photography Exhibition. We are grateful to the Nature Commission and to feature Judge Tim Harvey for joining us in judging this year. In addition to the core awards, we look forward to revealing the winner of two special awards : the Mourant Sustainability Award and the Barry Wells’ Award for the most promising student photographer in the Pollinator category.
Last but not least, this exhibition would not be possible without our wildlife photographers. We thank them for their work and hope that you enjoy the stories and moments that they have captured within this exhibition.
The Bailiwick Wildlife Photography Exhibition takes place at the Greenhouse Gallery within Guernsey Museum at Candie. Normal admission applies, free with discovery pass.

Save the Date! An Evening with Harry Borden – One of the UK’s top Celebrity Portrait Photographers
Guernsey Alzheimer’s Association are delighted to share a very special event: ‘An Evening with Harry Borden’, one of the UK’s top Celebrity Portrait Photographers.

Even if Harry’s name is new to you, his work won’t be. With more than 100 of his portraits held in the National Portrait Gallery in London, his portfolio features some of the world’s most recognisable celebrities, such as Oasis, the Spice Girls, Robin Williams and Richard Branson.
During the evening, Harry will share the stories behind these remarkable portraits, along with insights into the personal projects that continue to inspire his creative journey. It’s a rare chance to step into the world of a photographer who excels at revealing the humanity behind the lens.
Whether you’re passionate about photography or simply enjoy an engaging and fun night out, this promises to be a memorable event.
Please feel free to pass this invitation on to colleagues or clients who may enjoy a great evening in support of our charity.
