EXPLORING NATURE! Half term at Guernsey Museums

It’s a wild time at Guernsey Museums this half term!

From Saturday 22 February to Sunday 2 March, the museum will play host to art activities, talks about bugs and our Island’s ecosystems, and workshops led by artists and exploring pollinators.

All this activity has been curated around the two temporary exhibitions currently at the Museum: the Natural History Museum’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year in the Brian White Gallery, and the Guernsey Arts Bailiwick Wildlife Photography Exhibition in the Greenhouse Gallery, this year sponsored by Mourant.

All workshops, activities and talks are free for Discover Pass holders and ticket holders (standard admission prices apply).

To see more information on the activities available, head over to arts.gg or check out the Guernsey Arts Facebook page.

National Theatre Live presents: The Importance of being Earnest

Keep a space in your diary next Tuesday the 25th of February, as another National Theatre screening will be taking place at the PRCPA from 7pm!

Three-time Olivier Award-winner Sharon D Clarke is joined by Ncuti Gatwa (Doctor Who; Sex Education) in this joyful reimagining of Oscar Wilde’s most celebrated comedy.

While assuming the role of a dutiful guardian in the country, Jack lets loose in town under a false identity. Meanwhile, his friend Algy adopts a similar facade. Hoping to impress two eligible ladies, the gentlemen find themselves caught in a web of lies they must carefully navigate.

Max Webster (Life of Pi) directs this hilarious story of identity, impersonation and romance, filmed live from the National Theatre in London.
