It’s a Wrap! The St James Christmas Do 2023
Celebrate the holidays with a bang at this year’s St James Christmas do! Kicking off at 7pm on Friday the 22nd of December, the evening will be a “feast of local musicians and DJs, from St James to you”
The event even boasts free entry, so what’s not to love? Put on your favourite festive attire, bring your friends and family, and enjoy a merry night to remember.

GADOC Presents: Beauty and the Beast
Whether it’s an annual tradition, or your first time watching, this year’s GADOC pantomime is certainly not one to be missed.
The series of performances will be taking place between the 23rd of December and the 6th of January, held at the Beau Sejour Theatre. The classic and well-loved storyline is perfect for audiences of all ages, and would make for the perfect family outing.

Town Christmas Markets and Live Entertainment
This Saturday the 23rd is your final chance to explore this year’s Christmas markets in the Market Square, along with some brilliant live entertainment from Guernsey’s talented buskers.
Pick up some unique gifts and special stocking fillers, all while supporting local businesses and artisans.

Christmas Eve with Kiya and Faolan at The Imp!
If you’re looking for some festive live performances to get you in the holiday spirit, look no further!
Kiya Ashton and Faolan Griffin welcome you to join them at the bar of The Imperial for a varied set of Christmas songs, covers and original music.
The event will be taking place this Sunday, Christmas Eve, between 6pm and 9pm. Free admission.

Lit with Liberate: The Colour Purple by Alice Walker
The Lit with Liberate reading group returns on the 28th of December, to discuss ‘The Colour Purple’, a novel by Alice Walker.
Held in the Dorey Room of the Guille-Allés Library, the event will take place on Thursday the 28th of December between 6pm and 9pm, with an optional drinks social held at The Cock & Bull afterwards.
Copies of ‘The Colour Purple’ are available to borrow at the library. If you don’t have a chance to read the book but still want to come along, you’re still welcome to join for a taster of the book group!
The group is free and no booking is required.
