A 34-year-old prison officer has been arrested “on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled substance”.
A spokesperson for Guernsey Police said the man was arrested last week.
The individual has not been named.
Following the arrest, Prison Governor John De Carteret confirmed that a member of staff at Les Nicolles Prison had been suspended.
