The event has been organised by Ross Le Brun, who goes by ‘Dad makes stuff’ on Facebook. He said the event will turn Saumarez Park into a “a free public gallery for the day”.

Ross is no stranger to a piece of chalk, having asked permission from the States he ‘chalked up’ a Mario mural in Saumarez Park in April.

During the Island Games, Ross created two coastal murals dedicated to people taking part in cycling events.

The Chalk Art Festival is being held tomorrow from 9:00 to 15:00 and is free to attend. There’ll be free chalk on hand for anyone to have a go.
