Emily Dawson, the Head of Private Clients at Investec Bank (Channel Islands) Limited, was named ‘Private Banker of the Year’ for the Channel Islands and Isle of Man at the Citywealth International Financial Centres Awards 2026.

This win follows the bank being named ‘Overall Private Bank’ at the WealthBriefing Channel Islands Awards in December 2025.

Jane Niles, CEO of the bank’s Channel Islands branch, said the latest award highlights the firm’s personalised, relationship-led approach and the consistency of service provided to private clients.

“This recognition reflects the strength of our private client team and the culture we have built around long-term partnerships and exceptional service. Our people work closely together to support clients with complex personal and corporate banking needs, delivering a genuinely bespoke experience.

“Emily’s award highlights the depth of expertise we have in the business and our continued focus on serving private clients across the islands with care, consistency and judgement. I congratulate Emily on her award, which is recognition of the outstanding effort she applies in delivering for our clients.”

On the recognition she received at the awards ceremony at The Biltmore Mayfair Hotel in London, Ms Dawson said she shared the honour with her colleagues.

“This award reflects the collective effort of the Investec team and the shared focus we have on putting clients at the centre of what we do.

“Our role is to work alongside private clients, providing a high-touch, personalised service that brings together personal banking, lending and specialist expertise as needs change.

“I am fortunate to work with colleagues who are deeply invested in building trusted relationships and supporting clients across generations.”
