Newly-elected Deputy Ross Le Brun has won his second election in less than a month, after being voted onto the Committee for Employment and Social Security.

Deputy Le Brun replaces Deputy David Dorrity on ESS, after the latter resigned because he was frustrated over the committee’s willingness to make savings.

Deputy Le Brun was the only person nominated for the vacant seat and got 31 votes, with four votes against.

He became a Deputy last month at his fourth attempt, after winning last month’s island-wide by-election.
