Guernsey’s Medical Director of Health & Social Care will be retiring in November.
In a statement issued today, Dr Peter Rabey has expressed his deep gratitude for his time spent as Medical Director in his home island.
He highlighted the opportunities he has had to work with dedicated colleagues and to contribute to the long-term development of healthcare services in the Bailiwick, and he noted that the challenges and progress experienced during his time in the role has helped shaped him both personally and professionally.
He concluded by stating that now “feels like the right moment,” and that it gives him “the chance to pursue all my other interests, and more time to spend with my family and enjoying our beautiful island.”
