Medicinal Cannabis patients who have a prescription fulfilled through Medicann will be heading to town from now on, with the launch of a new “dedicated pharmacy” in St Peter Port. 

Located on Smith Street, the team behind Medicann’s expansion said it “marks a significant step forward in improving local access to high-quality medicinal cannabis treatment”.

Medicann’s CEO, Gary Whipp, said islanders who receive a prescription locally are treated for a number of conditions, illnesses, and diseases, including chronic pain, anxiety, fibromyalgia, and epilepsy.

“This new pharmacy is a key milestone in our continued effort to put patients first. With 420 PHARMA, we’re providing the people of Guernsey with direct access to expert care and timely dispensing — all from a specialist pharmacy team.” 

Mr Whipp continued: “It’s about delivering first-class, professional treatment and prescriptions locally, and we’re incredibly proud to have made this possible.”

The company said the opening of its new St Peter Port location also marks the end of its partnership with Stonelakes Pharmacy. 

It has confirmed that all prescriptions and patient services in Guernsey will now be fulfilled through 420 PHARMA.
