A landmark hotel in Jersey is celebrating once again achieving the AA’s highest accolade.

The Atlantic Hotel achieved the AA Four Red Star Inspector’s Choice classification after being given a 90% quality score, putting it among the “very best” in the British Isles.

Red Stars are the highest accolade awarded to hotels by the AA and are reserved for properties that “consistently exceed expectations within their star classification, signifying an exceptional level of quality, service and hospitality”.

Only 152 AA Red Star hotels nationwide have been recognised for delivering an exceptional standard of hospitality.

Ocean Restaurant at The Atlantic Hotel has retained its Four AA Rosettes for the sixth consecutive year under the leadership of Executive Chef Will Holland.

Four Rosettes are awarded to restaurants that “reach the pinnacle of culinary excellence”. Less than 5% of all restaurants nationwide hold this status, and Ocean Restaurant is one of three restaurants that do in Jersey.

The hotel also retained its AA Breakfast Award, with inspectors praising both the quality of the offering and the service received.

“We are absolutely thrilled to retain our Four Red Star status with such a remarkable quality score,” said Patrick Burke, Owner and Managing Director of The Atlantic Hotel.

“This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our entire team, whose commitment to excellence ensures that our guests enjoy the very highest standards of service and hospitality.”
