Among the events on offer at today’s community initiative is the popular “twisty sprint” which will see drivers and their passengers put to the test.

Last year’s motor sport event was believed to be the busiest of all of the sea front Sundays and this year could be the same with a good weather forecast ahead of today.

Among the attractions will be a number of vehicles on static display including from:

  • Classic Car Club
  • Guernsey Military Vehicle Group
  • Sarnia Car Club
  • RS Owners Club
  • Triumph Club
  • 66 Club
  • Guernsey Fire & Rescue Service
  • Guernsey Police
  • Guernsey Ambulance & Rescue Service
  • Guernsey Motor Cycle & Car Club
  • Guernsey Kart & Motor Club
  • Guernsey Autocross Club
  • Supercars Display
  • Guernsey Trials
  • Guernsey Radio Control Car Club

Some of those vehicles – including the emergency services vehicles – will be available for children to sit in.

A number of local stall holders and refreshment stands will also be open.

Away from the main town seafront, on North Beach Car Park, will be a number of live action displays starring different vehicles. They will include:

  • Motorcycle Twisty Sprint
  • Car Auto Solo
  • Motorsport Parade
