Once upon a brick: History comes to life at Candie

Guernsey Museums & Galleries is inviting LEGO® enthusiasts, history lovers and families alike to enjoy impressive creations made by accomplished and imaginative LEGO® artists.

Talented LEGO® artists at Warren Elsmore Ltd. have created ‘Brick History: Walk Through History in LEGO® Bricks’, which will open in the Brian White Gallery in Guernsey Museum at Candie from 16 October to 31 December.

Head of Culture & Heritage Services Helen Glencross MBE, MA, said: “We are thrilled to be able to bring ‘Brick History – Walk Through History in LEGO® Bricks’ to Guernsey.

“Warren Elsmore and his team have an outstanding reputation for creating exhibitions that are both entertaining and thought-provoking, and we know this exhibition will be hugely popular with local audiences and visitors alike.

“It is a wonderful opportunity to explore world history from a unique perspective and enjoy some truly impressive LEGO® artistry.”

Admission is £7 for adults and £2 for children and students, while children under seven accompanied by an adult are free.

The museum will be open daily from 10:00 to 17:00 until 1 November, then from 10:00 to 16:00 until the end of December.
