There was a woman seen standing by the car, who appeared to be the driver.
Crowds gathered as Guernsey Police attended the scene at around 11:45. Nobody appears to have been hurt in the incident.
A bystander said he was queuing for a coffee when he turned around to see the car on the bollard but didn’t hear the accident.
