A woman has died after a car accident in Guernsey.
Guernsey Police have confirmed the 78-year-old was fatally injured on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident occurred in the area of Rue des Landes in the Forest.
Inspector Așa Flatres said that police enquiries are ongoing into the incident which involved a pedestrian and a car.
“The family of the woman are now being supported by supported by specialist officers,” he said.
“Our condolences go out to the family and friends during this incredibly difficult and tragic time.”
