The collision happened at around 15:00 on Wednesday 21 April and the other vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
“The damage caused to the Black Renault Clio was a broken wing mirror and the driver side window completely smashed,” said police.
“The suspected vehicle is believed to be light blue in colour and driving it was an elderly male.”
