A two-day conference examining vaccine injury, post-covid illness and alternative approaches to health gets underway in Guernsey on Saturday.

Turnout is expected to be good with Eventbrite claiming there are “few tickets left”.

Backed by groups that have previously clashed with local authorities over pandemic policy, the event is called ‘Healing Beyond Covid’ and there will be presentations, talks, and screenings based on various covid related issues.

One critic has said the people involved have not got genuine intentions though.

Hosted by GB News presenter Neil Oliver, the conference will be held at St Pierre Park Hotel on 7 and 8 February, with the main conference hosted by Neil Oliver, a presenter and commentator on GB News.

The first day will feature the European premiere of ‘An Inconvenient Study’, a documentary by US activist Del Bigtree which questions vaccine research and medical transparency.

The second day will include talks from a range of international speakers, including Mr Bigtree, Professor Angus Dalgleish, Dr Tess Lawrie and Dr Peter McCullough.

The event is supported by the World Council for Health, the Guernsey Vaccine Injury Community, and the Channel Island Integrative Health Alliance (CIIHA).

In 2021, the latter group was at the centre of controversy after a planned ‘Covid Conversations’ event was refused permission to take place at a States-owned venue.

At the time, Education officials said it would be “inappropriate” for a publicly funded venue to host an event that could be perceived as contradicting Public Health guidance during the pandemic.

That event ultimately went ahead at the St Pierre Park Hotel – the same venue now hosting ‘Healing Beyond Covid’ – and Public Health were invited to engage. It refused.

On this occasion, the organisers of the ‘Healing Beyond Covid’ conference have called it “the most significant event to hit the island”.

They’ve said “some of world’s most famous game changers are appearing in person to speak to the people”.

“We are entering a time where reclaiming our physical and mental wellbeing has never been more important. Healing Beyond Covid, supported by the World Council for Health (WCH), the Channel Island Integrative Health Alliance (CIIHA) and the Guernsey Vaccine Injury Community (GCVIC) are flying in a group of world-renowned doctors, scientists, and public speakers to Guernsey for a powerful two-day gathering dedicated to health sovereignty, truth-telling, and solutions. These people are reshaping the global medical, journalistic and political landscape in real time.”

Together the visiting and local speakers will “explore cancer protocols, treatment innovations for vaccine injury, Long Covid and spike-related illness, overall health protocols to bring you back to complete balance and wellness, and the path back to individual empowerment”.

“This is not just a conference, it is a rare opportunity to learn directly from global change-makers… it is also the official launch of the Guernsey Covid Vaccine Injury Community (GCVIC),” said the organisers.

Dr Frank Han, a paediatric cardiologist, has expressed his concerns about the upcoming event.

He said he “care(s) that my friends out in the Channel Islands have access to the most up to date medical information available”.

Dr Han believes that the guest speakers visiting Guernsey this week do not have other peoples’ best interests at heart.

In an open letter he has explained his views.

“All the presenters will try to claim, in some form or fashion, that science that cannot be questioned is inherently unscientific,” he wrote.

“Science is not the representation of one person – it is a tool invented by humans to figure out how nature works through inquiry and questioning. Science is inherently self questioning and course-correcting. Science has clearly gotten things wrong in the past, such as the nature of what causes infections.

“However, we now have the benefit of hundreds of years of science showing us that infectious agents like bacteria, viruses, and fungi, cause infections.

“What you will never see from the Healing Beyond COVID presenters is any acknowledgement of their mistakes. In their mind, they are always right and infallible. This is inherently unscientific. Their responsibility is done once the doubt has been manufactured and they have collected their fees. This is inherently unscientific.”
