On 5-Feb-26 the Bailiwick Express published a letter from Frank Han MD [1] before the Healing Beyond COVID conference held 7/8-Feb-26 on the island.

Han identifies himself as a paediatric cardiologist formerly of London, now based in the United States. His stated area of expertise is paediatric cardiology, yet he pronounces confidently on oncology (turbo cancer), epidemiology, and the alleged motives of five speakers at the conference to be.

The letter troubled me by opening with the ad hominem attack: ‘their intentions are far from genuine’. The doctor clearly possessed extraordinary deductive powers as the letter went on to offer proof.

Unlike the good doctor’s letter that appeared rather quickly, even before the conference began, my own letter has taken time to write as I actually attended the packed conference which I found to be excellent [2]. The speakers were able to convey complicated medical issues in terms that could be understood by a lay-person.

One theme of the conference was the rushed decision to take an experimental and novel Covid-19 Gene injection in the absence of definitive long-term safety testing. In our lives we are often called on to make such decisions based on limited and incomplete information. My grandparents for example left their tomato growing business on Guernsey using the last boat out before the Germans invaded in 1940. Many islanders stayed and at the end of the war suffered severe food shortages. Only the passage of time can provide some answers about the better choice. Speakers repeatedly emphasised the importance of making better health choices for ourselves in the future.

Han first targets Del Bigtree, a journalist, who presented a film on Saturday evening called ‘An Inconvenient Study’. A Henry Ford hospital physician consultant was persuaded to start a study comparing vaccination status of patients versus adverse events. The deal was that the study results would be published irrespective of the outcome of the study. With the outcome of the study showing ‘the wrong result’ the hospital justifies non-publication because the study was ‘flawed’. The hidden camera footage in the film showed the consultant revealing he could not publish the results implying this would risk his career. Han makes a good point that chronic diseases like asthma have well investigated causes and reducing air pollution is a practical objective. Well quite, a bit like not giving a pregnant mother the drug Thalidomide is a practical objective to not producing deformed babies. This goes to the heart of what Bigtree is emphasising which is ‘informed consent’.

Prof Angus Dalgleish, an experienced Oncologist expert, was the next target for Han. Dalgleish is Foundation Professor of Oncology at St George’s University of London and is known for his work in immunotherapy. He is a genuine, senior oncologist ó not a fringe figure ó and his clinical observations deserve to be taken seriously. Dalgleish has noticed that recovered cancer suffferers who have been cancer-free for many years have suddenly experienced very aggressive and fast-acting turbo-cancers and sadly many have lost their lives. The professor strongly suspects the mRNA Covid injections as a factor and would like this to be investigated with a proper study. Han presents a graph showing no noticeable uptick in death rates in a ‘global network’ study which ends in 2022. Many countries did not vaccinate and even turbo cancer needs time to act, maybe only starting increasingly after multiple doses. A proper study in countries with high rates of vaccination would need to be done continuing to 2026.

Dr Tess Lawrie was the next target for Han and his criticism is her promotion of Ivermectin. This is a well established medicine widely used in humans for treating river blindness. The two inventors received the Nobel prize and the medicine is off-patent with a very good safety record over many years. Han critiques Lawrie for promoting the drug as a ‘cure-all’. Lowrie has promoted repurposing Ivermectin to save lives during Covid-19, based on studies carried out. I myself took ivermectin when a lateral flow test suggested that I had Covid-19 and a high temperature was present. The drug rapidly brought my temperature down which I was checking at regular intervals. For me the issue is: does the drug have a good safety record? Most importantly for the big Pharmaceutical companies was that there should be no existing drug to treat Covid-19 as otherwise they could not call for an Emergency Use Authorisation of their experimental Gene Therapies to treat Covid-19.

William Makis from Canada was next on Han’s list. Han mentions that a cancer-cure protocol recommended by Makis was tried and failed on the Dilbert cartoon author Scott Adams who died from cancer. However Han fails to mention that Adams took the Covid-19 injection. This is the exact same drug that the Oncologist expert Prof Angus Dalgleish is raising the alarm about as he suspects it is involved with driving cancer. Only time and further research will be able to explain the likely causes of these tragic deaths and Han would be advised caution attributing causes in areas where he has no expertise. Many qualified health experts around the world, including Makis, have raised alarms about the Covid-19 mRNA adverse events with resulting unexplained and aggressive attacks from medical regulators on their livelihoods.

Finally Han targets Dr Peter McCullough one of the most cited heart experts in the world, he is a genuinely prominent cardiologist. Han concedes that he has himself encountered patients with vaccine myocarditis and offers “utmost sympathies that some peopleís lives were genuinely turned upside down by the COVID vaccine”. Fortunately for Han he is not suggesting anyone should avoid taking the Covid-19 vaccine to avoid the risk of death. If he did he may experience what Doctors such as Makis experience such as the cancellation of their bank accounts and being struck off medical registers. Han questions the supplements McCullough promotes which again emphasises the importance of proper safety testing.

In conclusion, using German occupation as an allegory to experimental drug taking then stay/leave can be compared to drug/no-drug taking. Islanders who left lived to tell the tale. Some islanders who stayed and released pigeons during the war experienced a terminal end and were less lucky. The same can be found in unfortunate cases of taking the Covid-19 injections. Guernsey, a highly vaccinated island, should release the health outcomes in the interest of transparency. Informed consent and better safety testing are vital.

I thank Guernsey for hosting a brilliant conference. Your roads are well maintained. The Occupation museum was exceptional. My father eventually got his bicycle back at the end of the war after it was commandeered by the Germans. Some harms are fortunately reversible.
