Chief Pleas correct size

The vote earlier this month was subject to a re-count which was confirmed on 12 December.

There was a 66% turnout, with the poll topper Michael Locke achieving 179 votes. 

A minimum of 88 votes were needed to secure a seat in the island’s parliament, with Frank Makepeace re-elected in 9th position.

Christopher Bateson and Edric Baker were also returned to Chief Pleas, with Natalie Tighe, David Curtis, Mary Nicolle, James Martin, and Steven Lord all securing seats too. 

Tony Le Lievre, Sandra Williams, and Paul Williams lost their seats.
