Dust off your oversized white puffer jackets and dig out the frosted lip gloss: 90s boyband royalty East 17 are officially heading to Guernsey for one night only – though fans may well be hoping their flight back goes tech and they have to ‘Stay Another Day’.
The iconic band, who are named after the London postcode the founders grew up in, may have toured ‘Around the World’ but this is their first ever show in the Channel Islands (rude!), so they’ll be hoping ‘It’s Alright’.
‘If You Ever’ followed the boys back in the 90s, you’ll remember them for a string of epic hits, including 12 top-10 singles, four top-10 albums and even a Christmas No 1, with a legendary music video.
The group’s current lineup will headline the ‘Day Disco’ event at Follies nightclub, on St Peter Port’s North Plantation, on Saturday 7 November, from 15:00 to 20:30.
The band will be supported by DJ Leon Robertson and special guest DJs, playing 80s and 90s “bangers”.
Tickets for the event, which is aimed at over-30s, cost £41.50.
