20 different films will be screened at Castle Cornet this summer.

The ‘Twilight Cinema’ will feature two films daily between 7 and 16 August.

Children will be welcome to watch a family-friendly film at 17:00, before a film for adults at 19:00.

The organisers say “there will be something for all ages and tastes, from action and adventure to romantic comedies”.

Helen Glencross, Head of Heritage Services, said screenings will take place on the top lawn of Castle Cornet, with refreshments available, while people can bring picnics too.

“Guernsey Museums is looking forward to hosting Twilight Cinema again this year. The chance to enjoy your favourite films in such an iconic setting – and with such beautiful views of St Peter Port – is truly magical. This incredibly special event is always very popular, so why not share the experience with friends and family?”

Ticket holders are advised to bring rugs to sit on, and warm clothing for the later showings. Chairs can be brought into the castle, but they must be placed at the back of the lawn to ensure everyone has a good view.

Tickets are priced at £6 per film and are on sale now from www.guernseytickets.gg.
