Male duo ‘Whoops on Tour’ were the fastest relay team in the 2025 Sure Guernsey Marathon.

Sunday’s race saw the male team claim first place in the relay event with a time of 02:39:26.

‘Rosie and Dan’ were the quickest mixed pair in 02:56:29, while the fastest female duo were the ‘Pocket Rockets’ in 03:42:21.

The fastest five-person relay group was the male ‘Guernsey Tri Club’ team, who finished in 02:56:20.

The ‘Oceanskies Mixed Relay’ finished in 03:03:35, with ‘4 Non Blondes’ coming in just over a minute behind them as the first female team in 03:04:45.

Otmane Menbar’s course record has been confirmed at 02:29:48.

It was the Moroccan elite athlete’s first appearance in Guernsey, and he wiped just over two and a half minutes off the previous record which was only set a year previously.

Local athletes Rick Weston and Ciaran Slattery were the second and third fastest men home on Sunday.

The first woman home was Rosie Adamson, with Ella Taylor and Eve Bott running in within ten minutes of her.
