Fans of planes, trains and automobiles will be queuing up at the aiport as two thirds of the trio are on display at the airport this weekend.
Guernsey Aeroclub is holding its annual Wings and Wheels open day on Sunday 30 August from 10:30 to 16:30, thanks their main sponsor, VEGA TECHNOLOGY.
The family event is designed to give visitors a close-up experience with unusual and classic planes and cars.
Entry is £2 while walking children can come for £1 and it is free for children in prams and pushchairs.
Parking is at the Forest and Le Rondin schools a short walk away. This costs £1, with the money made being donated to the school.
The Wheels section will feature plenty of unusual super cats, vintage and classic cars, rally and racing cars, military vehicles, tractors and motor bikes both new and old.
The airport’s apron will be closed off giving rare access to the hangar, where the Wings section is located.
The aircraft list is being finalised, but visitors can expect kit-built and home-built planes, a variety of aircraft from different eras and a Bell 505X helicopter.
The Channel Islanders Air Search Islander and it crew will be there, too.
Owners and pilots of some of the aircraft will be on hand to talk about their planes and let visitors sit in them.
A flight simulator will be on display and the Guernsey Model Aero Club will be performing stunts on the apron.
Food and refreshment stalls will be on hand to keep everyone fuelled up for the day, as well as model planes and a raffle to win prizes.
