Guernsey Police are investigating an altercation between a cyclist and a pedestrian near the Town Church.
A spokesperson said the incident took place at the Victor Hugo statue outside the church at around 16:44 on 6 October.
Other people were in the area at the time and officers would like to speak to any witnesses.
