There will be 218 flights running from Friday to Christmas Eve, including charter flights to Tenerife and Madeira alongside regular services to the UK.
In a statement, Ports of Jersey said they were “preparing for a week of busy Christmas travel and is advising passengers to arrive in good time for their flights”.
Ports added: “With this many busy flights, passengers can expect some queuing and should therefore leave plenty of time to check in their hold luggage and clear security.”
A reminder has also been issued that the 100ml rule remains in place: liquids, aerosols, gels and pastes in containers up to 100ml can be carried in hand luggage, but should be removed and placed in the security trays for screening.
The items do not need to be placed in separate tray or in a plastic bag.
Any festive presents in hand luggage should remain unwrapped.
