The National Trust for Jersey’s Chief Executive Charles Alluto said: “We have been delighted with the support and enthusiasm shown for the 30 Bays in 30 Days swimming initiative. Following on from the first swim on 2 July, we were so encouraged by the number of people who registered and turned up to swim.

“As I have gone swimming around the various bays, it has been lovely to meet and talk to people who are also undertaking the challenge, as well as rediscover such places as Belcroute, La Coupe and Bel Val.
“The Trust is celebrating ten years of our Coastline Campaign and so what better way to enjoy and celebrate our beautiful coastline, than by taking a dip in some of our stunning bays. We look forward to seeing as many people as possible at our group closing swim on Sunday 31 July to share the occasion and thank everyone for their considerable support.’

Swimmers wanting to take one final dip can meet for the challenge’s closing swim on the beach by the Wayside Slip at St Brelade at 3 pm.
