Police are calling out for witnesses after a silver Mitsubishi 4×4 crashed into a wall on St Clement’s Road – before the driver got back behind the wheel and drove away.
The incident happened around 7.30pm on Sunday 13 July, after the vehicle was seen travelling along Rue du Fort and turning at the traffic lights, officers said.
It then reportedly lost control and struck the wall on the left-hand side.
According to police, the driver – described as a man with short dark hair, wearing a dark top and possibly shorts – briefly stopped to inspect the damage, before leaving the scene.
Police are urging anyone who saw what happened, or who has information, to come forward.
