He posted on a local Facebook page labelling the peacock “lost”, but none of the replies have so far solved the mystery of where the exotic bird came from.

Mr Buture told Express that no one had reached out about the missing bird, adding that he was unaware of anyone in surrounding areas owning a peacock.
“No one got in touch,” he explained.
Mr Buture said he was unsure where the peacock went after its brief visit.
