Every weekend, Express presents a selection of exhibitions, performances, workshops and more to help islanders get their weekly dose of culture.

Here’s this week’s offering…

Local artists ‘pop up’ at Greve de Lecq

A trio of Jersey painters will be showcasing their work down at the Greve de Lecq Barracks studios this weekend.

The ‘pop-up’ exhibition will feature work from Nigel Curnock, Yvonne Webb and Louise Ramsay as part Jersey ArtHouse Collins Pop Up Exhibition Series.

Visitors will get the chance to meet the artists, explore their styles and purchase original art at the gallery, open from 10am to 5pm both Saturday and Sunday.

The event will feature a dog show and other various activities for families – from craft and trade stands to classic vehicle displays – with drinks and other ‘scooby shack’ refreshments on offer.

It’s set to take place at the Royal Jersey Showground from 10.30am to 5pm. Entry pay £4 entry and £2 for seniors with children and members allowed in for free.

Islanders will get the chance to pop down to one of Jersey’s most scenic bays and discover some local talent over the next week.
