Every week, Express presents a selection of exhibitions, performances, workshops, events and other historic, creative and delicious content to help islanders get their weekly dose of culture.
Here’s this week’s offering…
Live at the Barracks: Phoebe Willson

Phoebe Willson is well known across Jersey’s music and education scene, but this week she is stepping forward in a different light.
With a background in contemporary vocals and performance, she combines technical precision with genuine expression – whether she’s mentoring students or curating showcases.
But tonight, audiences will have the chance to experience Phoebe not as a mentor or creative leader, but as an artist in her own right.
Performing original material inspired by her musical journey and personal exploration, she steps into an intimate setting designed for connection and storytelling at ArtHouse Jersey’s Live at the Barracks.
The event is taking place on Friday 27 February from 7.30pm at the Grève de Lecq Barracks.
Tickets, which are £15 per person, can be purchased here.
Hooray for Hollywood

Hooray for Hollywood comes to Jersey Opera House tonight, celebrating the greatest songs from classic movie musicals.
From The Wizard of Oz and Wicked to West Side Story and La La Land, the show brings big-screen favourites to life on stage.
Starring Liza Pulman and Joe Stilgoe, the performance promises big voices, rich harmonies and plenty of laughter – bringing Hollywood’s golden moments to life on stage.
Doors open from 6.45pm on Friday 27 March, with the curtain rising at 7.30pm.
Tickets, which start from £32, can be purchased here.
Sunday Social Dog Walk
Dog owners are invited to join a Sunday social walk designed to give pups and their owners a chance to enjoy the fresh air and exercise in good company.
The free weekly event is hosted by local dog sitting and walking company Trusted Tails – with this week’s walk setting off at 10am on Sunday 1 March from the grass area near the Gorey Beach playground.
Organisers say they are looking forward to welcoming both new and familiar faces to the gathering.
The Sunday social walks are a weekly informal community meet-up. Trusted Tails hopes the walks will continue to grow as a positive way to build a friendly, supportive dog-loving community across the island.
Attendees are reminded that owners remain fully responsible for their dogs at all times, and participation is at their own discretion and risk.

Take This at the Sundown

Music lovers are invited to celebrate one year of live gigs at The Sundown on Saturday 28 February at 8.30pm.
To mark the milestone, the venue will be putting on a special set packed with anthems from Jersey’s most famous cover band, Take This.

El Diablo 2026

The El Diablo Half Marathon and 10km Race is set to take place on Sunday 1 March from 9am to 1pm, hosted by Trail Monkey Running Jersey.
The half-marathon begins at 9am from Les Platons, while the 10km race starts at 10am from Grève de Lecq – guiding runners through some of the island’s most scenic areas.
Participants will traverse coastal cliffs along Jersey’s north coast. Expect challenging climbs, rewarding descents and breathtaking sea views throughout.
With sustainability in mind, organisers say the event will feature biodegradable cups at aid stations and encourage a strict “leave no trace” approach to help protect the island’s trails.
Entry costs £33 for the 10km, and £43 for the half-marathon.
