Ransoms Halloween Hunt

The Halloween Scavenger Hunt is taking place on Saturday 25 October from 10:00 until 16:00 at Ransoms Garden Centre.

Find all seven spooky inflatables hidden around the garden centre to be in with a chance of winning a treat.

The family-friendly event is free to attend and fancy dress is encouraged, but optional.

CONSUMED: A bold new exhibition by Women’s Research Wānanga

A new transdisciplinary exhibition that places women’s experiences front and centre will take place from Friday 24 October until Sunday 30 November.

Through paintings, sculptural works, projections and installation, CONSUMED examines difficult and disobedient bodies and minds. Alongside the exhibition there will be a rich programme of events and learning opportunities, including artist-led tours, free public workshops, a film night, and a full-day symposia.

The exhibition will feature over 70 artworks and a unique karaoke booth, inviting visitors to release their voices and emotions with iconic artists at ArtHouse Jersey Capital House.

Indoor Market at St Andrews park

An indoor market is taking place at St Andrew’s Park on Saturday 25 October from 10:00 until 14:30.

Various stalls will be open, including crafts, collectables, cakes and pies, as well as charity stalls raising funds for Jersey Cancer Relief.

The kitchen will be open and serving refreshments as well as hot and cold food throughout the day.

The market is free to attend with parking available and wheelchair access.

Organisers are also encouraging islanders to bring along their furry four-legged friends.

Resonant Landscapes Open Studio

Visual artist Athene Greig and musician Christopher Haddow merge their creative practices in an open ended exploration of land, sea, and the sensory traces they leave behind in this open studio and performance event.

The event will take place on Thursday 30 October from 19:00 until 20:30 at ArtHouse Jersey HQ, Grève De Lecq Barracks.

Trick or Treat Trail

From Sunday 26 October until Friday 31 October, fans of everything spooky are invited to Durrell’s Halloween themed trick-or-treat trail.

Meet the dead-icated team of keepers and colleagues across the Zoo, with the chance to get your very own trick or treat.

Featuring the Scare Taker, Fright Attendant, Poo Keeper and Zous Chef, follow the trail to undertake ghoul-ing challenges while learning more about life behind the scenes at the Zoo and Durrell’s work around the globe.

The event is free with zoo entry and will run throughout half term from 9:30 until 15:45.
