The emergency services – including the French helicopter, the Fire and Rescue Service, ambulance teams and the lifeboats – were all scrambled late on Saturday evening.

The 59-year-old woman, whose name isn’t being released, was treated in hospital, but only suffered minor cuts and bruises.
