Police are appealing for information about a collision near the Steam Clock yesterday morning that resulted in a cyclist being hospitalised.
The alleged incident took place around New North Quay at approximately 11:50 and involved one cyclist and one motorist.
The collision resulted in injuries requiring hospitalisation and a male has since been arrested as a result, police confirmed.
The force is appealing for members of the public to come forward who may have witnessed the collision to help further the investigation.
It is believed there was “at least” one other cyclist in the area and vehicles driving past at the time, police added.
