A 35-year-old man has been jailed for four years for intent to supply cocaine worth £17,000.

William Watton-Roberts was today sentenced to four years in custody for being in possession with intent to supply the Class A drug.

On 18 August 2023, police located 51.3g of cocaine at an address in St Helier where Watton-Roberts had been residing.

The drugs were valued as having a street value of £17,000.

Watton-Roberts was charged with the offence on the 27 February 2025, and pleaded guilty at his first appearance at Magistrate’s Court on the same day.

The case was referred to Royal Court due to its seriousness.

“We will do our utmost to prosecute anyone who imports and/or deals drugs in Jersey and bring those responsible before the courts.”
