Miss Battle, Evie Bertram will be accompanied by her Consort, Rowan Chateau, Junior Miss Battle, Catherine Richford and the event’s mascot, Battle Bee.
The trio will be greeting arriving passengers, some of whom will be visiting the island specifically to visit this year’s Battle parades. They will also be handing out leis and flowers to visitors as part of the official launch of Battle Week.
The three girls will be bestowing their floral greeting at the airport between 12:00 and 14:30 this afternoon.
The Battle officially starts on Thursday 10 August, when Evie will be accompanied by this year’s Mr Battle – Jersey-born, former EastEnders actor, Jonny Labey.
