The man is described as white, around 45-years old with a stocky build and strawberry blonde or light ginger hair. He was clean-shaven and was wearing jeans and a green t-shirt with a large white circle design on the front. He had sunglasses on and was carrying a black bag with green trim and a light blue towel.
The incident happened at about 4.30 pm and anyone who saw the man or has any information about is asked to contact the CID office at Police Headquarters on 612200 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
The outdoor pool was originally built to mark Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. It was restored to its former glory last year and is now known as the West Park Victorian Marine Lake.
