Police officers said the collision between the woman’s white Kia Picante and a red Ford Fiesta happened around 14:30, and that an ambulance was called to the area.

The force is now appealing for information and is asking anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage to call them on 612612 or make an anonymous report via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or through their online form.
