A driver sustained a serious wrist injury in a crash on the ‘KEEP CLEAR’ road markings outside the Ambulance Station yesterday, police have said in an appeal for witnesses.

Officers said the collision – between two vehicles, “a white commercial truck and a black moped” – happened at around 08:45 on Monday in the area of Rouge Bouillon, directly outside the emergency service headquarters.

“One of the drivers sustained a serious injury to his wrist that resulted in hospital treatment,” the force said. The injured person was released from hospital the same day.
