Instead, runners in the 6km or 13km races will be able to rehydrate en route with paper cups filled from bowsers donated by Jersey Water.
The annual fun run will start and finishes at Jersey Zoo and will be raising funds to support the zoo’s newly-opened butterfly and tortoise exhibit.

It’s for that reason runners are being invited to don their brightest hues, with extra kudos for those who don butterfly wings. The best dressed runner will receive a special prize.
Matthew Sutton, Client Director of Rathbones, who are sponsoring the event, commented: “It’s always been a fantastic and fun event and we are delighted to be able to continue our support for a local charity that does such important work both here in Jersey and all over the world.”
