Rescue teams had to use hand saws, as well as battery-operated power tools to remove sections of the tree, and free the family, who fortunately weren’t injured – they were all checked by paramedics at the scene.

The Fire Service says the tree was blown down by this morning’s strong winds.
Bagatelle Road now re-open Route 3 inbound and outbound back to normal.
