St Helier Seafood Festival began yesterday at the Jardins de la Mer, outside the Radisson Blu Hotel. It offers over 25 stalls, each filled with seafood and shellfish of every creed and colour.
The three-day event takes place from 12:00 to 21:00 each day and there will be drinks and an al fresco area, as well as fairground rides and live music.
Entry is only £2, with all proceeds going to Teenage cancer Trust.
St Brelade’s Bay Beach Festival starts today at 10:00 with a late finish. On the water, there is banal-boating, RIB rides and jet skiing, while on the beach you can try yoga, massages, tai chi, or craft activities. Bucket and spade enthusiasts can have a go at creating the longest sandcastle line and there will be live music throughout the day from the Reasons DJs, Badlabecques, Jersey pipe Band and many more.
All money raised will go towards Jersey Hospice Care and the RNLI.
