Jersey’s elite and experienced surfers tackled giant swells off Corbiere on Saturday as the island experienced unseasonably warm weather.
The extra large swells also affected European coastlines such as Nazare in Portugal.
Surfing waves of this size and location require years of training and experience in heavy water, especially as no lifeguards patrol the beach at this time of year.
